  • How to Measure Your Waist for the Perfect Waist Trainer Fit

    Getting the right size is essential for comfort, support, and visible results. Because the WaistedMom waist trainer is made of rubber, it offers a firm, snug fit. Sizing based on your actual waist measurement in inches (not clothing size) will give you the most accurate fit.

    How to Measure Your Waist Properly

    Step 1: Use a Soft Measuring Tape

    Use a flexible, sewing-style tape measure. Avoid rigid rulers or construction-style measuring tapes.

    Step 2: Stand Tall and Stay Relaxed

    • Stand straight with a relaxed belly (do not suck in).

    • Identify the narrowest part of your waist, usually just above the belly button.

    • If your lower belly is fuller, also take a measurement at the widest part for reference.

    Step 3: Wrap the Tape Correctly

    • Ensure the tape is level and flat all the way around.

    • It should feel snug, not tight or loose.

      • Correct: Tape lies evenly against the skin without squeezing.

      • Incorrect: Tape is pulled too tight or hanging too loose.

    Step 4: Read the Number in Inches

    Where the tape meets itself is your waist measurement. Use this number to determine your size. Avoid using dress size or estimating.

    Sizing Chart — Choose Based on Waist Measurement

    Example:
    If your waist measures 33.1 inches, you should choose Large.
    If your waist measures 36 inches, you fall into the XL range. However, if your body tends to experience bloating or inflammation, the trainer may feel very tight initially. Choose based on how snug you want the fit to be.

    Additional Fit Tips

    • WaistedMom waist trainers run snug due to the rubber material. If you are between sizes, it's best to size up for greater comfort.

    • Always measure without clothing for an accurate result.

    Now that you’ve measured properly, you’re ready to order with confidence and begin your body-sculpting journey.

    If the trainer is snug at first then try it on again the following day on empty stomach.  If still snug then be sure to follow the included nutrition plan and try it again the following day.  The trainer will stretch.   Remeasure your waist to confirm inches.  The body fluctuates based on the FOOD consumed. Some foods cause inflamation and if your body is always inflamed then the waist circumference will change until you change what you are eating.
